sin cityAugust 25, “I’m All In” – Pastor Kurt

Jesus called his disciples to go all in… nothing less.  Today’s church has forgotten this costly call to be a Christ-Follower.  We’ve traded the truth of the gospel for a token prayer to receive Jesus, but to give up nothing.  Pastor Kurt describes Barna’s 10 stops of the typical American and challenges us to resist the tendency to spiritually coast, give up, or walk away.  Go All In!

sin city

August 11, “SIN CITY: Galatia” – Pastor Kurt

Like most Christians today, the churches in the region of Galatia lacked an understanding of true discipleship.  How does Jesus expect us to react to what His Word has to say?  God does have an expectation for us to keep growing and determining to be “all in… no turning back.”

July 7, “SIN CITY: Corinth” – Pastor Kurt

We may know Vegas as Sin City, but in ancient times Corinth was known for its worldly and wild ways.  How was the church to live in such a sexually permissive culture?  Unfortunately, they were not much different.  Paul wrote, “I can hardly believe the report about the sexual immorality going on among you” (I Cor. 5:1a).  Today’s culture is similar to Corinth.  Will the church also?
