God is calling our church to seek His wisdom, direction, unity, and peace during in this time of transition. Therefore, we are devoting the 31 days of January to offer various times and places for our congregation to pray. Instead of meeting at the church, these 30-minute prayer gatherings will be in our homes.
We are looking for up to 31 people who will open their homes (big and fancy not required, warm and kind expected). These hosts can pick the day and time that suits them. (We’re also suggesting you invite one other person/family (kids welcome) to co-host with you). Locations and times can be found on the calendar in the foyer or email the office for access to the Google calendar.
“For where two or three are gathered in my name,
there am I among them.” Matt:18:20
The host is simply providing the place to meet. The only agenda is to pray for our church at this important moment in our history. People will be welcome to pray aloud or silently.
Hopefully, each of us will gather to pray at least once during each week.
“Little prayer, little power. More prayer, more power.
Much prayer, much power.”
There are still several opportunities to host available. So, which day and time works for you? Perhaps you’re willing to host more than once? Sign up in the foyer today or email the office.
“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.” Col 4:2
